POSITION SUMMARY
Grounds Maintenance(I and II) performs a full range of typical grounds maintenance duties such as: turf areas, trees, shrubs, flowers, athletic fields, and playgrounds; application of fertilizer, insecticide, and fungicide, as needed; maintains outdoor furniture and equipment; performs numerous other assignments as specified by management. 

 

REPORTS TO:  Grounds Maintenance Supervisor and Director of Facility Services

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS – Required qualifications to effectively perform the job. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 8 hours per day, 12 months, and 2,080 hours per year.

 

Education: High School diploma or equivalent is required. 

Experience: A minimum of 1 year job-related experience is required. 3+ years of experience is desired. Must pass a physical exam. Must pass a drug screening (if applicable).

License: Grounds Maintenance II Requires a valid Missouri Commercial Driver License (CDL), Class B. Must have a clean driving record and obtain a Missouri school bus driver license endorsement within the first 6 months of employment to be used for bus driver responsibilities.
